Telehealth

During this unprecedented time of uncertainty, as COVID-19 continues to have an impact on communities around the world, it is more important than ever that individuals have access to resources and support. In an effort to adapt to the change, the Anxiety Center of Annapolis has established a structure for telehealth services so that it is more convenient than ever to receive the care you need.

Similar to face-to-face appointments with your provider, telehealth visits will be private and confidential. The Anxiety Center of Annapolis utilizes Telehealth by Simple Practice for telehealth sessions. Telehealth by Simple Practice is HIPAA compliant.

Treatment

The Anxiety Center of Annapolis provides diagnostic intake interviews, as well as individual psychotherapy. Diagnostic intake interviews are typically between 50-60 minutes. Follow-up individual therapy sessions are between 50-60 and typically are scheduled weekly. In some circumstances, it may be appropriate for sessions to occur more frequently. This will be discussed between you and your provider.

Dr. Rovnak’s approach draws from many empirically-supported treatment modalities, allowing her to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs. Her primary orientation is cognitive-behavioral and she focuses on the treatment of anxiety in adults.

If you have any specific questions about working with Dr. Rovnak individually, feel free to reach out.

Supervision

I also provide supervision for doctoral-level psychological associates seeking hours for licensure. The fee for this service is $175/hour. Given that one of the most important aspects of the supervisory relationship is fit between supervisor and supervisee, Dr. Rovnak will schedule a complimentary initial meeting in order to establish compatibility.
