Do you worry too much? You are not alone.

Findings from national prevalence studies indicate that nearly one in every five adults is affected by an anxiety disorder in any given year, making anxiety disorders the most commonly occurring mental illness in the United States.

Moreover, research has demonstrated that individuals who are diagnosed with an anxiety disorder are also at increased risk for suffering from other mental and medical illnesses, such as depression, heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.

The good news is that there are a number of highly effective treatment options available. The Anxiety Center of Annapolis is dedicated to providing the highest quality, evidence-based treatment to individuals with anxiety and other anxiety-related conditions.
